Questions about Service Connect in Cork
Can I get a plumber or electrician in West Cork?
You can post a job from anywhere in County Cork. Providers choose the counties and areas they cover, so set your area, mention the nearest town and give some flexibility on dates if you are a distance from the larger towns. Local providers who cover your area can then send you a quote.
What should I include when posting a job in Cork?
Your area and nearest town, what needs doing, photos, and anything that affects access, such as a steep city street with no parking or a long lane to a rural house. The more a provider knows up front, the more accurate the quote.
How much does it cost to post a job?
Nothing. Posting a job and getting quotes is free. When you book, a buyer protection fee of €0.90 plus 5% of the first €500 and 3% of anything above is added, and you see the exact figure before you confirm.
What happens if I need to cancel?
If either side asks to cancel before work starts, the booking is cancelled when the other person agrees, or automatically after three days, and your full payment, fee included, is refunded.
