Frequently asked questions
Can I book a gardener for regular visits?
Yes. Mention in your job post that you're looking for ongoing maintenance, such as fortnightly mowing, and agree a schedule directly with the gardener once you've booked.
Do gardeners bring their own tools?
Most do, but it's worth confirming through in-app messaging, especially for bigger jobs like hedge-cutting or landscaping that need specific equipment.
What if I don't know exactly what my garden needs?
Describe the problem as best you can. "Garden hasn't been touched in a year" is a perfectly good job post. Gardeners can ask follow-up questions before quoting.
Is there a fee to post a job?
No. Posting and getting quotes is free. Service Connect adds a small buyer protection fee when you book, shown before you confirm, and the whole payment is refunded if the booking is cancelled before work starts.
