Why book a plumber through Service Connect
A small leak rarely stays small. Whether it's a dripping tap keeping you up at night, a toilet that won't stop running, or water coming through the ceiling, plumbing problems tend to get more expensive the longer they're left. Service Connect makes it quick to describe what's wrong and hear back from plumbers who work in your area, instead of scrolling through directories or waiting on hold.
Every plumber on Service Connect verifies their identity through Stripe before they can respond to jobs, and you can see their profile, uploaded qualifications and reviews from completed bookings before you decide who to book. You stay in control throughout: compare quotes, ask questions through in-app messaging, and only pay once you've agreed a price.
Payments are handled securely through Stripe inside the app, so there's no need to have cash on hand or sort out an invoice yourself. If you cancel before the job starts, your whole payment, fee included, is refunded.

How quickly can I get a plumber?
Response times depend on your area and how urgent the job is. For urgent jobs like burst pipes, say so in your job description so plumbers can prioritise it.
Are the plumbers on Service Connect qualified?
Plumbers verify their identity through Stripe before they can respond to jobs, and can upload their qualifications for you to check. We don't check those qualifications ourselves, so always read a provider's reviews and ask about their experience with your specific job before booking, especially for gas or major installation work.
How much does it cost to post a job?
Posting a job and getting quotes is free. Service Connect adds a small buyer protection fee when you book, shown before you confirm, and the whole payment is refunded if the booking is cancelled before work starts.
