Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I book movers?
As early as you can, especially around common moving dates like month-end or the start of a lease. That said, plenty of movers can also take on short-notice jobs. Say so in your post.
Do movers provide packing materials or boxes?
Some do, some don't. Check the provider's profile or ask directly through the app before booking if you need boxes or packing help included.
What if something gets damaged during the move?
Discuss this with your mover before booking so you understand what's covered. Checking reviews for how a provider has handled previous moves is a good way to gauge reliability.
Is there a fee just to get quotes?
No. Posting your move and comparing quotes is free. Service Connect adds a small buyer protection fee when you book, shown before you confirm, and the whole payment is refunded if the booking is cancelled before work starts.
