Why book a handyman through Service Connect
Most homes have a small list of jobs that never quite get done. Nothing is urgent enough to chase a specialist for, yet it's enough of a hassle that you'd rather someone else handled it. Service Connect is built for exactly that list. Post one job or several, and local handymen can quote on the lot.
Because "handyman" covers a wide range of skills, the more detail you give, such as photos, measurements and what you've already tried, the better the quotes you'll get back. You can also see what other jobs a provider has taken on and how previous customers rated the work before you choose.
Payment happens through the app once the job's agreed, so there's no need to work out cash on the day or chase an invoice afterwards. If your plans change before the work starts, your whole payment, fee included, is refunded.

What kind of jobs can a handyman take on?
Most general repairs, assembly and maintenance jobs around the home. For specialist or notifiable work like major electrical or gas jobs, look for an electrician or plumber instead. You'll find both elsewhere on Service Connect.
Can I bundle several small jobs into one post?
Yes. Listing everything in one job post is often more efficient for you and more appealing to providers than posting each task separately.
Do I need to supply materials?
It depends on the job. Check with the provider through in-app messaging. For something like flat-pack assembly, you'll usually just need the item itself and its instructions.
How much does it cost to use Service Connect?
Posting a job and getting quotes is free. Service Connect adds a small buyer protection fee when you book, shown before you confirm, and the whole payment is refunded if the booking is cancelled before work starts.
