Questions about Service Connect in Galway
Can I find a cleaner in Galway through Service Connect?
Post a cleaning job with Galway as your county and your area selected. Say whether it is a regular clean, a deep clean or an end-of-tenancy clean, and local cleaners who cover your area can send you a quote.
Will providers travel to Connemara or the Aran Islands?
That is up to each provider, since providers choose the counties and areas they cover. Post the job with your area and nearest town, and for island work mention the ferry, so providers can decide and price the trip honestly.
How are providers checked?
Every provider verifies their identity through Stripe before they can offer services: a government-issued ID, their address and their bank details. They also declare whether they hold public liability insurance and can upload qualifications, and only customers who completed a booking with them can leave a review. We don't inspect qualifications or insurance documents ourselves, so read the profile and ask questions in chat before you book.
When is my card charged?
Only when a provider accepts your booking, not when you send the request. Stripe processes the card inside the app and holds the payment until the job is complete. If the booking is cancelled before work starts, your full payment, fee included, is refunded.
