Questions about Service Connect in Kildare
Can I find a childminder in Kildare through Service Connect?

Providers verify their identity through Stripe, but we don't run background checks, so meet them, ask questions in chat and check references and Garda vetting before you book.
Can I get one person to do several small jobs?
Yes. Post the list as a handyman job with a photo of each item. A provider can quote for the whole list, or send a custom offer with their own price and conditions.
How much does it cost to post a job?
Nothing. Posting a job and getting quotes is free. When you book, a buyer protection fee of €0.90 plus 5% of the first €500 and 3% of anything above is added, and you see the exact figure before you confirm.
When is my card charged?
Only when a provider accepts your booking, not when you send the request. Stripe processes the card inside the app and holds the payment until the job is complete. If the booking is cancelled before work starts, your full payment, fee included, is refunded.
