Delete your account

You can delete your Service Connect account and the personal data linked to it at any time. You don't need to keep the app installed to ask.

1. From the app

1. Open Service Connect and sign in.
2. Go to Account, then Settings.
3. Tap Delete My Account and confirm.

Your account closes straight away: you are signed out, you can't sign back in, and your profile, listings and jobs disappear from other people's view.

2. Without the app

Email support@serviceconnect.ie from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We confirm the request within 7 days and close the account the same way.

3. What is deleted

Within one month we erase or permanently anonymise your name, email address, phone number, photo, profile, location details, and the text of your messages and reviews. Your listings and jobs are taken down.

4. What is kept, and for how long

Booking, payment and invoice records are kept for as long as Irish tax law requires (up to six years), because we are not permitted to delete them. They are no longer linked to a name or contact details you can be reached at.

5. Before you delete

An account can't be deleted while a booking is still open or a payment is still going through. Finish or cancel it first, then try again.
